After 9 years in specialty oncology practice, Dr. Crystal Garnett saw a need for care that not only focused on fighting disease, but also prioritized the whole body connection. Kindred Path Vet was created to bring that vision to life—offering cancer treatment alongside holistic support in the space where pets feel most safe: home.
A modern approach
Dr. Garnett is uniquely trained in both veterinary oncology and integrative medicine, including acupuncture, herbal therapies, and nutrition. She completed her oncology residency at the University of California, Davis—recognized as the nation’s top veterinary school—and went on to pursue training in veterinary acupuncture and herbal medicine through CHI University, one of the most respected and comprehensive programs in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
Having spent years in corporate specialty veterinary medicine, Dr. Garnett founded Kindred Path Vet to create a more personalized, relationship-centered approach to care. Her combined background in oncology and integrative medicine allows her to approach each case with medical precision and thoughtful customization—always guided by the pet’s comfort and the family’s goals.
